Commtouch® and Entensys announced today that Entensys, a software
solution provider for information security and Internet access programs,
has added Commtouch's Anti-Spam
and Zero-Hour™
Virus Outbreak Protection to its UserGate™ Mail Server.
"Before releasing our UserGate Mail Server, we analyzed several leading
anti-spam solutions," said Dmitry Kurashev, Entensys CEO. "Commtouch
proved to be the best solution because of its high quality of spam
detection, its use of cutting-edge technologies and its stellar
reputation among its existing users."
The UserGate Mail Server provides small- and medium-sized companies
worldwide with secure mail services. The program works with all Windows
mail clients and has an easy-to-use and remotely available
administration capability.
UserGate's anti-spam module uses Commtouch’s engine, which is based on
Commtouch's patented Recurrent Pattern Detection™ technology. RPD
detects and blocks spam in real-time, ensuring email servers remain free
to support business email operations.
"Working with Entensys demonstrates our strength as a truly global
solution provider," said Francois Depayras, vice president, Americas
sales and business development. "Because our solution is language
agnostic and focuses on patterns of spam outbreaks, it has proven itself
to be the most reliable protection available."
Commtouch technology ensures the lowest percentage of false positives,
and it supports and protects Entensys customers around the globe from
spam, phishing and harmful malware outbreaks.
"Within the UserGate Mail Server management system, Commtouch settings
are easily tunable, based on the kind of mail a business receives,"
concluded Kurashev." This provides a significant advantage over
rule-based anti-spam solutions."
