A Ryan's restaurant is a family-oriented restaurant serving food in a casual atmosphere with server-assisted service. The restaurants feature self-service scatter bars with a variety of over 100 fruit, vegetable and meat entree items, bakery and dessert bar, and table service and drink refills. Several restaurants feature a display cooking area, where guests can have grilled-to-order steaks, chicken, pork chops and other items cooked to order for them, all of which is included in the price of the buffet.

Rand Logistics is a shipping company. Through its Lower Lakes Towing Ltd. and Lower Lakes Transportation Company subsidiaries (collectively, Lower Lakes), Co. is engaged in the provision of marine transportation services to dry bulk goods suppliers and purchasers operating in ports in the Great Lakes. Lower Lakes provides services to the construction, electric utility and integrated steel industries through the transportation of limestone, coal, iron ore, salt, grain and other dry bulk commodities. Additionally, Co. is also engaged in the development, ownership and operating retail and commercial real estate in Australia, New Zealand, and the U.S., which includes entertainment-themed retail centers in Australia and New Zealand, and live theater assets in Manhattan and Chicago in the U.S. As of Dec 31 2006, Co. had interests in 44 cinemas comprising some 286 screens consist of 56 screens in nine cinemas in the U.S., 152 screens in 20 cinemas in Australia and 78 screens in 15 cinemas in New Zealand.
