| Rural/Metro provides medical transportation services, which consist of emergency and non-emergency medical transportation services. Co. provides services to about 400 communities in 23 states, including several rapid growing states in the U.S. such as Arizona, Florida, Oregon, Utah and Georgia. As of June 30 2007, Co. has about 95 contracts to provide 911 emergency medical transportation services and about 870 contracts to provide non-emergency medical transportation services and other medical transportation services. In addition, Co. provides non-emergency medical transportation services to a range of customer base. Co. also provides private fire protection and related services. |
