U.S. Bridge of N.Y. commenced operations in or about June 1993 to serve primarily as a general contractor for construction projects sponsored by federal, state, and local government authorities in New York State and Metropolitan areas. Since its commencement of operations in June 1993, NY has provided steel erection for building, roadway, and bridge repair projects for general contractors who have been engaged by private and municipal/governmental customers. As of September 30, 1997, NY has completed in excess of eighteen (18) projects and is currently engaged in four (4) projects with an aggregate value of approximately $19,998,040. The Company plans to maintain its subcontractor presence in the steel industry; however, now that it has obtained general contractor bonding, it intends to focus on obtaining projects as a general contractor.
