| United States Lime & Minerals conducts its business through two segments, Lime and Limestone Operations and Natural Gas Interests. Co., through its lime and limestone operations, is a manufacturer of lime and limestone products, supplying primarily the construction, steel, municipal sanitation and water treatment, paper and agriculture industries. Co. extracts limestone from its open-pit and underground quarries and then processes it for sale as pulverized limestone, quicklime, hydrated lime and lime slurry. In addition, Co. has interests with respect to oil and gas rights on its approximately 3,800 acres of land located in Johnson County, TX, in the Barnett Shale Formation. |
